THE TRIVANDRUM FULLER CENTER FOR HOUSING, INDIA
SHELTER is one of the most basic needs of man. It is as essential as food and clothing. There are millions of homeless people around the world. Housing is a global problem. India is no exception. Since the 2011 census, there have been about two million homeless people in India. More than 70 million families lack access to decent housing or live in inadequate housing environments. Despite the efforts of the union and the state governments, housing continues to be a perennial problem, to address which non-governmental organizations are also in the forefront. The Trivandrum Fuller Center for Housing, formed in 2007, is such an organization that functions as the only Covenant Partner in India of the Fuller Center for Housing, USA. The Center helps low-income families, with long term interest-free loans, to build their own simple and durable homes. Please empathize with the homeless families and extend your helping hand so that we can eradicate poverty housing from our country.

MILLARD FULLER, THE GREATEST PHILANTHROPIST OF OUR TIME!
Millard Fuller (1935-2009) was founder of the Habitat for Humanity and the Fuller Center for Housing, USA. Millard, a universally acknowledged philanthropist, gave up his whole fortune worth millions of dollars for housing the poor the world over. India, my country, has also benefited from his ministry with more than 20,000 families having been extricated from their substandard housing environment and accommodated in simple, decent and affordable homes. Millard's mission, which aims at eliminating poverty housing fom the face of the earth, continues as successfully as ever before. The Fuller Center for Housing, Americus, Georgia, led by David Snell (President) and guided by Linda Fuller (Co-founder), is making fast strides in helping the underprivileged that are in need of shelter both within and outside the US. The corpus for this noble non-profit housing organization comes from generous donations made by humane people like you. During August - September 2009 the Millard Fuller Legacy Build was launched and the Trivandrum Fuller Center for Housing was privileged to participate in this Global Program by building a house for a homeless needy family. It was completed with the local funds. Please visit http://www.fullercenter.org/ for more information about the Fuller Center for Housing.
